Wow, two of my interests collided today. I am a listener of the Hanselminutes podcast which is typically about programming and .Net. Suddenly, a show about board games. Really cool show that does a good job at introducing the hobby.

Airplane Ear

I just came back from my vacations in the Dominican Republic. I have landed for 48 hours now and my ears haven't popped back into place yet.

This nice little condition is commonly known as Airplane Ear. I am going crazy right now. It is quite painful and I lost a good part of my hearing (mostly the right ear)

I suggest to everyone that travels by airplane to read the article. It gives a few tricks about preventing airplane ear and most importantly, how to deal with flying when you have a cold (which is what caused my particular condition)
